A Very Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas. The kids were so happy.  Santa was good to them.  Here are a few pics from our Christmas.

It was so good to see a smile on Gigi's face.  :-)
After all the fun, we came home and watched a movie. Santa brought a tin of popcorn for each of our kids. They LOVED having their own big tin to eat while watching a movie.

I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas with your loved ones. I will put pics up of our family Christmas later.

Countdown to Christmas

The kids have been off of school since Friday afternoon.  We've had a calm week so far.  Have not done too much. I think the kids are bored now.  We know this weekend is going to be busy and Bill & I are just exhausted. So a few days of nothing is what we needed.

Here are a few pics from the past week.  I'm sure we'll be taking tons more this weekend.  The kids are excited and so are we.

It's Double Birthday Week at our house

This week is a busy week for us. We celebrate 2 very important people in our family.  Bill's birthday is on the 14th and Jadyn's 8th birthday is on the 15th.

So we started the week of celebrations off by celebrating them yesterday with our families.  We had a lot of fun. It's always nice to see the cousins play together.  Jadyn was thrilled. She loved every minute of it.

Here are a few pics from yesterday.

Wo Ai Ni Jun Hua

This is Ethan singing "Wo Ai Ni Jun Hua".  It's a little song I made up that I sing to him.  He's saying "I love you Jun Hua" in Chinese.  Jun Hua is his Chinese name.

ICE! At The Gaylord Palms

Our dear friends asked if we wanted to go to ICE!  We've heard others talk about this so we said "yes, lets go".  On Saturday we went and had a great time.  It's 9 degrees in there.  FREEZING!  Thankfully they supply the parka's because where on earth could we Floridians find something like that here?  LOL  We brought our "FL" gloves & hats but they did not work too well. We still froze and we all left there looking like Rudolph.  :-)

They have slides made out of ice.  The kids went down it a few times. Bill went down it. Then they said "Come on mom!  Try it". So I did. It was fun. The kids loved that I actually did it.

Here is the family picture they took before we entered ICE!  Don't we look silly?  :-)
